From intimate solo textures to sweeping orchestral arrangements — music that transcends the boundary between sound and image.
From Québec City, Maxime Bernier began his musical journey as a self-taught artist, carrying forward a proud family tradition of musicianship. First a guitarist, then lead vocalist of a metal band for several years — a founding experience that introduced him to the world of performance and stagecraft.
He later solidified his foundations through private lessons in guitar, piano, music theory, solfège and ear training, before completing his studies in the Music Composition & Audio Technology for Visual Media program at Campus Notre-Dame-de-Foy.
Forged by relentless work and countless hours of sonic exploration, he now composes from his home studio — crafting original scores and sound design for film, web series, animation and theatre. His music oscillates between the intimacy of a solo instrument and the power of vast orchestral arrangements, deeply rooted in Baroque, Classical and Romantic influences.
Armed with expert command of MIDI mockups and virtual orchestration, he breathes life into imaginary worlds — making every composition an immersive experience that unites sound and image.
